There is a fox is a music project by Hiro Makino joined by his friends.
Currently residing in Kyoto, Japan after living in Canada and California for most of his life.
Other music projects include oto, soto, elephant day and turn on the sunlight.

Most of the songs are about sleeping and staying inside the house.
Interests include space, parallel universes, chocolate, donuts, and giant robots.

Scratchy Bear is a recording project by boon, rie, and taipod. The group's music is a mixing of pop, electronic, and experimental elements. Locking themselves in bedrooms, Scratchy Bear makes music from scratch.

Scratchy Bearはboon、rie、taipodによる三人組録音プロジェクト。それぞれがベッドルームに籠もり、ポップ、エレクトロニック、実験的な要素を取り入れた音楽を非常にゆっくりと制作中。

Quiet Animal

2003年からロサンゼルスを中心にsoto、otoというユニットで活動していた牧野博高（a.k.a. there is a fox）、小林隆太、宇土健の3人が各々のソロと並行して2013年末に京都で結成。ギター、コーラス、パーカッションというミニマルな構成でドライなメロディを奏でる。

京都在住。幼少期より海外を転々とし、様々なバンド活動を経て２００５年よりソロ活動を開始。声とギターで明暗を静かに歌う。

Jesse Peterson & Mia Doi Todd

Mia Doi Todd is a singer-songwriter from Los Angeles. She will release her tenth solo album 'Floresta', a collection of covers of some of her favorite Brazilian nature-themed songs, on September 16th. She contributed two songs to the recent Red Hot + Bach compilation and has a song featured in the latest Michel Gondry film "Mood Indigo."

Jesse Peterson grew up in Austin, Texas, and now lives in LA with Mia and their daughter Ynez. Turn On The Sunlight, the project he created with Carlos Niño, has led to collaborations with many wonderful musicians. He recently composed music for the forthcoming documentary film 'Kasamayaki' by Yuki Kokubo.

ミア・ドイ・トッドはロサンゼルス在住のシンガーソングライター。独特な声質からエレクトロニカ、ロック、ヒップホップなど多ジャンルのアーティストとコラボレーションも行なっている。2014年9月16日には10作目のオリジナルアルバムとして彼女の愛するブラジルの自然をテーマとした楽曲のカバー集、「Floresta」をリリース予定。

ジェシー・ピーターソンはロサンゼルス在住のギタリスト／インプロバイザー。カルロス・ニーニョとのユニット、Turn On The Sunlightでの活動の他、there is a fox等多数のミュージシャンの作品に参加。Yuki Kubota監督のドキュメンタリー映画、「笠間焼」の音楽を担当する等、ビデオプロジェクトやアートインスタレーションへの楽曲提供も行なっている。

Carlos Gabriel Niño is an internationally celebrated producer, arranger, composer, musician, radio host, DJ, music consultant, writer, poet, and event organizer, based in his hometown of Los Angeles, California. He has been an important force in the contemporary independent music scene since 1995. A prolific artist, Niño has been involved in the production of more than 100 records and has toured with various bands and as a DJ throughout Europe, Japan and the United States.

スピリチュアル・ジャズ・コレクティヴBuild An Arkをはじめ、Life Force Trio、Ammoncontactなど、数々のプロジェクトで知られるロサンゼルスを代表するプロデューサー＆DJであるカルロス・ニーニョ。ファラオ・サンダースからDJシャドウまでジャンルを横断してさまざまなアーティストと交流を持ち、各種の重要な音楽プロジェクトを実現してきた。近年は、LAサウンドのコンピ『The sound of L.A.』や故J・ディラの追悼プロジェクト『Suite for Ma Dukes』の制作でも話題を呼んだ。自身のラジオ番組「Spaceways」をKPFK FMで15年以上も続け、世界的に注目を集めるネットラジオ局Dublabの設立にも関わっている。カット・ケミストのまもなくリリース予定の最新アルバムのプロデュースも担当している。ギタリストのジェシー・ピーターソンとのユニット・Turn On The Sunlightでは2010年に来日を果たし、レイ・ハラカミ、テニスコーツ、コーヒー＆シガレッツ・バンドらと共演した。カルロス・ニーニョ＆フレンズは、彼の幅広い人脈からうまれたコラボレーション・プロジェクト。2009年にファースト・アルバム『High With A Little Help From』(KINDRED SPIRITS)をリリース。

鎌倉出身LA近辺在住コズミック・ビートメイカー。Hip Hopに侵食され2011年よりliquid.sunshine.としてビート制作開始。またの名を天照汁御神。コズミックさとオーガニックさと心強さを兼ね備えた気持ちの良いビート音楽を目指し日々模索中。

KOSMO KATこと、宇宙人タクジは、高校卒業後アメリカはカリフォルニア州でCOSMODELIONというコズミックロックバンドのメンバーとして人生を楽しんでいたが、ある日突然、強制送還となってしまい、今は日本に居る。
